the seats are stolen all the time here also and in San Antonio. Knife to roof, 4 bolts and a connector and vamonos guey. Civic's with S2K seats everywhere :'(

Yeah, that's why I had LoJack back in the day in my S2000. Convertibles are just so easy to steal and alarms do so little. I hope he gets lucky and gets it back before it's stripped.

Stuff like this makes me thankful to live in a place where a wave of car theft consists of people stealing personal items out of unlocked cars in people's driveways , and police have to periodically remind people , hey yeah it's probably a good idea to lock your doors.

truth, I considered S2k seats for my civic, the floor pans swap out and then they bolt right in. the joy of honda's is they plug and play across so many like legos, but its the same thing that makes them so prone to theft

It's a serious issue. Owning an S2000 has a prerequisite of having a garage. If you haven't got a garage to store your love in, you're going to have a bad time.
